Penangite opens first-of-its-kind mobile ‘nasi kandar’ stall Monday, June 20th, 2011 12:37:00 BANDAR MAHKOTA CHERAS: ONCE upon a time, nasi kandar was sold by vendors who would carry rice and other dishes in two containers balanced by a pole on their shoulders. Soon, nasi kandar restaurants sprouted all over the country.
AS a person who was born, and lives, in Kuala Lumpur, I recall with fond nostalgia how the city used to be.
